BOISE, Idaho — The J.R. Simplot Company, a family-owned, privately held food and agribusiness company headquartered in Boise, Idaho, has signed a purchase agreement with Ouachita Fertilizer Company for its retail locations in New Iberia and Bunkie, Louisiana. Subject to Simplot’s due diligence the locations will become Simplot Grower Solutions retail outlets upon deal closure, currently anticipated to be December 2022.
Simplot Grower Solutions is a customer-focused retailer offering agribusiness solutions, agronomy expertise, and a full range of products and technologies to farmers. The organization is growing its position as a dynamic ag retail leader, and the addition of these two highly strategic locations will complement existing stores spanning the continental U.S.
