The Real World Immersion for Student Excellence (RISE) Program, organized by seven Treasure Valley Companies, provides high school students with real-world opportunities as they contemplate the next steps in their education and their career options. During the program:

“We are thrilled to open our doors to this year’s RISE students and hope this gives them a chance to build meaningful relationships, discover emerging fields in global food and agriculture, and refine their communication and presentation skills,” said Simplot’s Global Talent Program Lead, Emily Fulmer. “Feeding the world is a big job and we are eager for Idaho students to step up to the challenge.”
Several Treasure Valley organizations, including Simplot, Idaho Power, Clearwater, and Micron, sponsored the 2024 RISE program, which started in 2023. This initiative provided students with valuable one-month externships at these companies.
