The Simplot Education Council was formed in the early 1990s to promote educational excellence in Pocatello, Idaho School District 25 area schools .  Because the Company's fertilizer production facility located in Pocatello, Idaho, provides many scientific and engineering resources, the Council has emphasized science experiences in the classroom.   

Mission Statement:
The J. R. Simplot Company's Education Council is committed to assist students in School District 25 in achieving excellence in education.  We will work with the school district and local schools to identify areas that the Council can support and develop helpful partnerships.  The purpose of this Council is to enhance efforts to help students achieve their full academic potential. 

Requests for Simplot Financial Support for school year 2009-2010 must be received by September 30^th.  Please complete the attached form (pdf format) and return to Simplot by that date.  Requests must come from School District 25 staff and are limited to $750.
