U.S. Operations:  Food Plants
 

The Simplot Food Group owns and operates a number of facilities.  These are situated in prime growing areas and offer excellent access to our customers throughout the U.S.

 

Aberdeen, Idaho, potato processing plant
The Aberdeen plant produces batter-coated french fries in addition to traditional cuts such as shoestrings, thincuts, and wedges. The southeastern Idaho facility also processes tater gems, hashbrown patties, and the Simplot’s unique stone-ground corn fries called Cornados.

The plant’s products are distributed throughout the U.S. and to international markets. Customers include regional and national quick-service restaurants and retail and full-line distribution companies.

 

Caldwell, Idaho, potato processing plant
The Caldwell facility processes traditional french fries such as shoestrings, thincuts, and regular cuts, and tater gems, hashbrown patties, and individual-quick-frozen shredded hashbrowns.

The plant’s products are sold throughout the U.S. and to international markets through customers such as regional and national quick-service restaurants, and retail and full-line distributors.

 

Grand Forks, North Dakota, potato processing plant
The Grand Forks operation turns out traditional cuts of french fries, including shoestrings, thincuts, and regulars, as well as tater gems and hashbrowns.

The products are sold throughout the U.S. and to international customers, including regional and national quick-service-restaurant chains and retail and full-line distribution companies.

 

Moses Lake, Washington, potato processing plant
The Moses Lake plant processes a variety of products, including tater gems, hashbrowns, dehydrated potato granules, and shoestring, thincut, and regular french fries.

The products are sold to regional and national quick-service-restaurant chains and retail and full-line distribution companies. Customers are located throughout the U.S. and the international marketplace.

 

Nampa, Idaho, potato processing plant
The Nampa operation turns out tater gems, hashbrowns, and batter-coated an d traditional french fry cuts such as shoestrings, regulars, and wedges, in addition to select-recipe fries and Simplot’s newest creation – Infinity fries with zero grams trans fat.

Products from the southwestern Idaho plant are sold throughout the U.S. and internationally by regional and national quick-service-restaurant chains and full-line distributors.

 

Othello, Washington, potato processing plant
The Othello facility produces a full line of traditional french fries, including shoestrings, thincuts, regulars, and wedges, as well as tater gems and hashbrown patties.

The plant serves regional and national quick-service restaurants and retail and full-line distributors. Products are distributed around the U.S. and overseas.

 

West Memphis, Arkansas, vegetable packaging plant
The West Memphis plant, located just across the Mississippi from Memphis, Tennessee, provides foodservice and industrial customers throughout the U.S. and Canada a variety of individual frozen vegetables in bags plus bagged blends that include sauce, chicken or beef, and rice or potatoes.

Roasted potatoes and vegetables are shipped to West Memphis from a processing facility in Pasco, Washington, as well as plants in Mexico that Simplot owns and operates in conjunction with a privately held Mexican company. Other vendors supply the West Memphis facility with items not available from Simplot plants, including baby whole carrots, water chestnuts, sauces, and individual-quick-frozen meats.
