Overview
The California Simplot Grower Solutions Team is excited to offer our California Scholarship Program to eligible students. This program will provide three (3) $5000 scholarships annually to California Students that are pursuing educations in Agriculture and/or Agriculture related field.
The purpose of this scholarship program is to assist you in becoming a leader in the Agricultural field. We are also hopeful that you can utilize this program and seek out opportunities for employment and a career with Simplot.
Eligibility
You must be currently enrolled in a California College or University studying in an Agricultural Degree Program. Each submitted application must be complete and accompanied by an official college transcript. To receive scholarship funds, recipients, must be enrolled as full-time students.
Selection Process
To ensure impartial selection, recipients will be chosen by the scholarship committee.
Recipients of scholarships will be notified by approximately 4/10/2009.
Those applicants not selected for scholarships will be notified by 4/24/2009 and will be eligible to reapply for future scholarships.
After all the recipients have been selected and notified, the scholarship monies will be sent to the appropriate university or college in the recipient's name and applied toward tuition fees. If possible, the college address and scholarship coordinator to which the money is sent should be specified on the application form.
